  • 3. Weather, Weather, Weather!

This is Florida, so you know we weren’t about to forget about the weather while talking about all the natural beauty youwill be surrounded by. In general, Ponte Vedra Beach has highs around 80°F and lows of 65°F. The winters are moderate and only last a couple of months, which means more time outside enjoying the "Beach Life" with beautiful weather and no time shoveling your driveway (It has only snowed twice during my lifetime that I can remember).

We are known for getting 3 seasons which is rare in the State of Florida. This means not only do we have a mild winter but we are have a more moderate summer than South Florida or inland Florida.

But with the advantage of being on the beach, having lower property taxes (St Johns County vs Duval County), and award winning schools. And while it can take 45 minutes to get to the Jacksonville International Airport, and 30 minutes to get to Downtown Jacksonville, your office may be located in Jacksonville Beach (15 minutes) or in Southside near the St Johns Town Center (20 minutes). It is all thanks to the easy access to JTB / Butler Blvd which is the main highway to get from the Beaches to intown.

Most of our intracoastal homes are located along Roscoe Blvd. This area has a more rural feel with large lots and plenty of trees. The intracoastal lots are mostly 400' deep and the width size can range from 75' to 200'+. On the other side of Roscoe Blvd you can find homes with acreage and horses where the zoning allows. Another luxury of Roscoe Blvd is that you have a handful of very fine restaurants located on the Intracoastal Waterway. Some homes on Roscoe Blvd have their own gate. But if you are looking for more of a community and additional amenities like a golf course then you should consider Harbour Island in Marsh Landing Country Club
