Serenata Beach Club Update for Ponte Vedra Beach

Here is a letter that was recently sent out updating everyone on the current status. This is great news for everyone who is a member or lives closeby in Turtle Shores, Ocean Grande Condos, Serenata Beach Condos and South Ponte Vedra.

Dear Future Member,

The South Ponte Vedra Ocean Club is currently being renovated and reimagined to become one of the premier private beach clubs in Northeast Florida. The Ocean Club will be a first class, private beach club where Members come together for unforgettable experiences, exceptional dining, family gatherings, and meaningful social connections.

 The Merritt family, who officially became the new owners of the club on September 24th, are committed to modernizing the Club, hiring professional club management, and launching a world-class restaurant.  While members were unable to purchase the former club, no matter. A new day has dawned.  The Merritt’s are committed to owning and operating a new, upscale Club for the long term.

 If you are receiving this email, you are considered an “active member” of the former beach club. You are eligible for $1,000 off your Membership Initiation Fee through November 30, 2024 (only).  While the new owners have received no payments or dues related to the former club, this discount is specifically meant to help offset your loss of services related to the former club’s closure. 

 We are also incredibly excited to announce that LYNDA’S at the Ocean Club will provide a premier dining experience curated by a masterful executive chef under the exacting management of a renowned restaurateur.

LYNDA’S  will feature international cuisine with an emphasis on seafood. Meat, vegetarian, gluten-free, and specialty fare will also be featured. LYNDA’S will be open to the public; however, Members will enjoy exclusive benefits including priority seating, advanced reservation privileges, access to Members-Only events, and a 10% discount on all food and beverage purchases. 

The Club plans to hold its Grand Opening Gala celebration for all new Members in January 2025.  We cannot wait to welcome you as a new Member!
