· Change out your ho-hum bathroom sink with a granite one. Although granite isn’t exactly an inexpensive choice when it comes to countertop materials, you can often score a great deal through your local granite supplier simply by choosing a granite remnant. Head to a granite yard and ask to take a look at their granite remnants, then strike a deal and you’re set.
· Buyers love fancy showerheads, so switch out your dated showerhead with an elaborate one and you’re sure to get approval from those viewing your home. Showerheads with handheld sprayers and rainfall-style showerheads are in vogue.
· Put in a new toilet. Toilets are usually less than $200, yet a new toilet will be immediately noticed by potential buyers.
· Change out your old fixtures with brushed nickel ones. Brushed nickel, whether on your towel bar or bathroom faucet, is a popular finish for many of today’s homeowners, so switch out the bathroom light fixture, toilet holder, towel bar and faucet. This is probably one of the most cost-effective changes to make, as fixtures and accessories are often reasonably priced. They can give you a lot of bang for your buck.
· If your bathroom is small, consider installing a pedestal sink. They are stylish and take up little room. Plus, they can make a small bathroom look quite spacious. Pedestal sinks come in many styles, so choose one that best fits your space and say goodbye to your dated bathroom sink.
