The Popularity and Beauty of Palmo


With an average sale price of only $207,000 for all homes, the Six Mile area is a great buy. Between January and March 2008, the average two bedroom sold for only $83,000; three bedrooms sold for an average of $160,000, and four bedrooms averaged nearly $300,000. Cost per square foot ranged from $68 for a one bedroom to a high of $110 per foot for three bedrooms.  Four bedrooms were a slightly better value at $100 per foot.  This area is an affordable, beautiful option for many families. 

During the last quarter of 2007, the Palmo/Six Mile area just west of the World Golf Village sold 200% more homes than the quarter before, certainly a bright spot in a six month period that has seen a rather depressed real estate market in most of the nation.
