St. Augustine is a lovely, family friendly place. One of the best things about living in the area is that it takes environmental concerns seriously. People who are interested in buying St. Augustine real estate property need to take note that the St. Johns County is attempting to implement restrictions as to what days residents can water the lawns, and how many days in a week they can perform this activity. The initiative is developed to help the community save water during summer months but as of right now, this endeavor is not properly implemented.
The fact that St. Johns County authorities cares enough to implement this policy shows their dedication and concern for the environment, and for the community as a whole. In addition, as more people get concerned about their limited water supply, it is undeniable that this move can become more effective in the future. Other restrictions that are proposed with regards to water conservation include limiting the use of private wells for irritation and using reclaimed water where it is available.
This St. Augustine homes water conservation effort is a move that aims to conserve existing water supplies and for the supply to become consistent with other water management districts in the state. n the case of St. Johns County, the district is looking for alternative sources such as the St. Johns River and even the Atlantic Ocean.

It seems to the case everywhere you look. Austin Texas has water issues as well, actually most of Texas. More people seem to be moving to side of conservation and I am glad to see it.
