Jacksonville as the Transportation Center of the United States' East Coast

Jacksonville is known worldwide as a hub for transportation and shipping of goods and materials.

Jacksonville has one of the top rated sea ports on the east coast.  We will be seeing it in the news many times in the future with onset of MItsui bringing more goods to our port.

We are strategically located where I-10 and I-95 meet.  So we can facility transporting to the north or the west with ease.  For this reason we have a number of logistics companies located here in Jacksonville.

Along with roads, Jacksonville has a robust railroad systems.  We are the location of CSX railroads, a fortune 500 company.

It was just announced that Rail America will be moving their headquarters to Jacksonville to Boca Raton.  This move has the potential of moving 95 employees to the area and will move at least 20 to 30 employees.

We are happy to hear about more good paying jobs coming to Jacksonville and more potential home buyers coming to our market.

Other news on the economic forefront:

Hanjin Shipping and the Jacksonville Port Authority are in the process of finalizing a Hanjin container terminal.

The Westside is getting Vokswagen of America parts distribution center.

Keep the good economic news coming Jacksonville!
