The State of Florida and State Farm have come to an agreement that will allow State Farm to continue business in Florida. The agreement specifies that State Farm is allowed to increase their base rate 14.8% and to non-renew 125,000 customers. Customers will start to receive their non-renewal notices in February 2010. State Farm will be giving all customers at least 6 months advance notice of the non-renewal.
