Levitt and Sons Gets Money to Complete Homes

Many homes have been sitting uncompleted at The Cascades at World Golf Village.  This deserted community was the only active adult community at World Golf Village and one of the few in the Jacksonville metro area.  It was to be a nice addition to the mix of different World Golf Village homes for sale.  This dream died when the Builder, Levitt and Sons, declated bankruptcy last November.  Since then many buyers have been wondering if they can get their money back or if their house will ever get finished.

Well good news!  It is being reported that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court is allowing Levitt and Sons to borrow up to $3.5 million to finish homes.

No word yet on when or if they will be starting back at the Cascades.  So please let me know anything if you are a buyer in that area and Levitt and Sons contacts you.
