As a result of going over budget and expectations changing over whether or not gas prices will continue to rise, the school board has allocated an additional $42,127 for fiscal year 2009 just for transportation costs. This means the total budget for transportation costs will now be $462,681. Parents and students will see an increase in the cost of field trips and the school sports teams will have to pay higher prices for the cost of fuel to go to away games. Everybody pays the price when the economy isn’t doing well.

Fortunately, for families who could not previously afford to become homeowners, now is a good time to do so.
